Second single from Riva Starr's sophomore album "Hand in Hand"... an eclectic double a-side dealing squarely with modern society's burning predicaments... Life, Love, Drugs, Nature and the Pursuit of Happiness (or lack thereof) all rolled into two deceptively simple hooks...

"Kill Me" is a quirky ode to the transient beauty of human life on the planet and a warning that we may be deeply abusing the very thing we cherish... "Life is as sweet as make believe, Baby, won't you kill me when you leave!"

The B-Side "Detox Blues" deals with the more mondane problems impinging on our daily life, and confronts a most modern dilemma... Should we keep the party going or are we better off in bed?.

All very tongue-in-cheek and blatantly, irreparably spine-tinglingly optimistic ;)
